PURNA SUDIPTA...Born and brought up in Khardaha, NORTH 24 PGS.
As she belongs to a musical family she started learning music since her childhood from her mother smt. Srabani Palit and grand mother smt. Geeta Chatterjee. At the age of 5, Purna Sudipta started with her formal training in classical music from Pinaki Ranjan, a renowned singer of Ichapur and modern songs from smt. Mallika chakraborty. she joined Shrutinandan in the year 2005 and came under the influence of many gurus. Eventually she acquires training in various genres. she attended many workshops organised by Nehru Children’s Museum, learned music from Sree Jatileshwar Mukhopadhay, smt. Swagatalaxmi Dasgupta, pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty. Currently she is a disciple of smt. Sampa kundu Vaskar.
She received scholarship from Nehru Children’s Museum on Rabindrasangeet. She performed in various television shows in ETV, tara music.
In madhyamik and Higher secondary she got highest marks in music in disctrict.
She is still learning vocal classical and semi classical music. After completing M.A from presidency university, she did her b.ed from St.xaviers college, Kolkata. Apart from music she is currently working as a political science teacher in Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary school (ICSE board).
