Musical qualification:
Started learning music at the age of 4 from parents. Later from the age of 8, learnt Classical music and Nazrulgeeti from Shri Siben Chakraborty in Bokaro Steel City. From 2002, was under the guidance of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty in Shrutinandan. Presently, learning music from Sri Goutam Ghosal, Sri Anol Chatterjee and Srimati Jayati Chakraborty.
Musical achievements:
2nd in “Amar Bhupenda, 2015”, a competition organized by Prag TV, Assam. Sung to the tunes of legendary Ilaiyaraaja’s bengali version of his noted compositions, produced by Hindustan Records. Shared stage with Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty in Ragas and Blossoms, 2014. Has successfully released an album MASHRUF, containing 4 self composed songs in 2014 Regular performer in Bengali entertainment channels like Tara Music, Akash Aath and Rupasi Bangla. Has been performing since last 7 years in and around West Bengal, Delhi, Kochi, Hyderabad and so on. Has playbacked in films like Bye Bye Bankok and Teen Tanaya, various serials and short films. 1st in Bengali Modern song in 2010 and 2nd in Nazrulgeeti in 2012 in Murari Smriti Music Competition.
