Sanghamitra Banerjee is a passionate and aspiring Vocal Artist.She ranked-Fourth in Rabindrasangeet Diploma Course from the Prestigious Rabindrasangeet Institute-'Dakshinee' in Kolkata and also got First Class in B.Music and M.Music in Rabindrasangeet from Rabindra Bharati University.She ranked-First in Dance Diploma Course from Rupam Youth Choir(Present Shyamananda Kalamandir in Kolkata).
She has learnt Rabindrasangeet from the revered Maestro-Subinoy Roy for few months and also got training from Late Shree Shantanu Mitra(From 'Dakshinee') and Professors like-Smt Rajyasree Ghosh,SmtTapasree Das and Shree Agnibha Bandopadhyay.Apart from singing Rabindrasangeet She loves recitation,narration and writing personal essays and poems.Presently She is learning Hindusthani Classical Music under the tutelage of revered Vocalist and Musician-Shree Anol Chatterjee.
Other than Rabindra Sangeet Sanghamitra aspires to sing different genres of songs specially-Bhaktigeeti/Bhajan, Modern songs, Folk etc.
